Oracle Application Server (10.1.2.0.2) provides comprehensive, flexible and automated high availability solutions that ensure the applications you deploy to Oracle Application Server meet to achieve your business goals.This course is the suggested follow-up to Oracle Application Server Administration courses. This course introduces the concepts and architecture of high availability solutions in Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 and enables the participants to install and configure Oracle Application Server 10g to be highly available. They will learn to configure the active - passive and active - active high availability for different installation types of Oracle Application Server.

They will learn to configure failover of stateful and stateless J2EE applications, configure Oracle Cluster (Web Cache) to function as load balancer, configure OracleAS Cluster (Identity Management), and install OracleAS Portal using OracleAS Cluster (Identity Management), and implement OracleAS Disaster Recovery.
